Justice Committee Inquiry

The Justice Select Committee was tasked with consulting the public about the End of Life Choice Bill. Having received more than 35,000 written submissions on the bill, approximately 3,600 asked to make an oral submission, which includes overseas submitters.

The Justice Select Committee is one of 12 subject select committees in the New Zealand Parliament. This committee looks at issues related to constitutional and electoral matters, human rights, justice, courts, crime and criminal law, police, corrections, and Crown legal services.
